Great pizza! Great ice cream! You can buy lottery tickets, too. Lots of good snack products and other unique sauces and jams.

Talk about an out of the way unexpected gem find! We were driving back home on US Highway 27 & got hungry! And we came upon this place, pulled over & to our delite had the opportunity to enjoy what seems to be a frequently visited joint by locals! The place is definitely NOT a michelin star restaurant but is cozy & welcoming environment makes up for it! Menu is simple, to me like diner food. I liked the most the variety of soup available! & the fact u r welcome to taste as many as u like before commenting to one! I went with the split pea! velvety creamy flavorful taste! Went with the bowl & it was filling. Hubby went with one of their pizzas. Several sizes are available & he went with the small which was plenty! Think of a pizza hut personnel size pizza & make it slightly bigger. It was yummy! Then on to dessert! Omg! ICE CREAM! I believe they have about 40 flavors to choose from! No soft serve. Do keep in mind place is not your fast food joint. Dedicate a bit of time to your visit. After greeted by a warm friendly smile we sat at the counter. Checked out the menu & made our pickings! Then walked around the small market area where u can see the huge collection of beverages they have! & the jams/jellies! You can also take a chance with your luck & buy a lotto ticket. Not a fancy place at all, no frills, no cloth napkins! Just lots of kindness & awesome (thou a bit slower then usual AMAZING SERVICE!). A must stop when in area! Enjoy!

Awesome Cheesesteak Quesadilla @ $10.99! This is a one-subject review. For all the details on this great casual joint, read my next-most- recent update. Several of my friends have told me I've screwed up by not trying their quesadillas as I've tried almost everything else. I fixed that today, and they were correct; I screwed up. Their menu lists three varieties- Steak, Chicken and Pulled Pork. An employee told me that in actuality, you can have any ingredients that they have so knock yourself out! I went with steak, mushrooms, onions, and provolone. It was out quickly and piping hot and grilled perfectly. You'll notice right away that the fillings are diced much finer than they would be in a sandwich. This makes sense as otherwise everything would fall apart. Overall, it was very heavy and a substantial meal. One bite and my taste buds went wild! The flavors of the different fillings blended perfectly, and I finished the whole thing. I waddled out, smiling and stuffed and headed home for a nap! This is my favorite local restaurant and it delivered yet another 5-star meal!

I've been here around a dozen times. Never a bad experience. They all seem to hustle, the food is good.

So damn good!! We have yet to find something on the menu we don't like. The staff is wonderful and friendly. Food is delicious with large portions. The restaurant is clean. The beer selection is great and the food menu has a lot to offer. We will definitely be back again and again. Worth the trip to Avon Park to check out Market 27. 10/10 recommend. The market part is awesome and they even have Ice Cream.

Went with a group from work for lunch. There were 5 of us and it was lunchtime, the restaurant was pretty busy. Several got salads, which were huge (and delish, they said), one got pizza and I got a Stromboli. My Stromboli was huge, and it was so good!! The service was excellent. I have passed this place many times, now that I have been there, I will def go back. Those also sell canned items from pickled quail eggs to pickles.
